With regards to the letter stating, 'Problems closer to home need our help" I want to say it is our duty to support the poorer countries.
However I agree that within our neighbourhoods some issues have been ignored. One of those is drug dealing. Whilst there is more awareness than there used to be I still think we could do more.
Some parents and relatives are all too happy spending the money their children make from drug dealing. Some are even proud of the fact.
It's OK saying you are sincere but what about living in a sincere way. Bringing our young up to know what is right and wrong should begin in our homes.
