ACCRINGTON and Rossendale College gas engineering students have been awarded with training certificates Presentations took place at the Crown Hotel, Colne, with representatives of the Nelson, Colne and District Master Plumbers' Association.
The students had attended a five-day gas combination boiler training course at Accrington and Rossendale College, which is a centre of vocational excellence.
The Accrington gas training centre is purpose built for boiler training. It allows plumbers and fitters the opportunity to further-develop their technical skill and knowledge.
Certificates were presented by Clive Weston, the college's head of construction, to: Steven Kitto, of G Stubbs Plumbing; Robert Brown, of J Driver Ltd; Kenneth and Michael Smith from A1 Plumbing and Heating; Colin Whittaker, of L Whittaker and Son Ltd; Geoff Reyner, of Geoff Reyner Plumbing; Michael Scholes, of Michael Scholes Plumbing; and Glen Grave, of Roger Whalley Ltd.
