A BURNLEY man died after collapsing with an epileptic fit his bathroom, an inquest heard.
John Miller, 47, of Hubie Street, also suffered from diabetes.
He had moved back to Burnley from Leeds after a serious attack left him with memory problems.
He was found dead in his home on November 13 last year after friends raised the alert.
His mother, Mary Miller, of Rosehill Road, told East Lancashire Coroner Richard Taylor that her son had never told the family he had definitely been diagnosed with epilepsy.
The inquest into his death was adjourned for toxicology tests after a suspicion that a gas appliance had been left on.
But pathologist Dr Abdul Al-Dowd said there was no evidence of gas poisoning.
He gave the cause of death as epilepsy.
Mr Taylor recorded a verdict of death by natural causes.
