BAXENDEN Cricket Club scored a record year of turnover and profit in 2003.
At the Ribblesdale League club's AGM on February 10 they announced a profit of £4,152 for the year, more than £3,000 up on 2002.
Over £2,500 was taken over the bar, plus £800 from other sources on match days and they were also boosted by sponsorship from Holland's Pies.
On the playing side, their lower mid-table finish was considered disappointing but they confirmed Australian Jon Harvey will again be the professional in 2004.
