A NEW fencing club opens its doors at the Apple Dance Centre, Twist Lane on Sunday, March 7.
James Selby, former coach of Liverpool Fencing Club, has decided to open this club in Leigh. He has been fencing for many years having competed in both regional and national competition.
The club starts with an open session on March 7 between 3pm and 5pm. This session will be free for all and there will be an opportunity to watch some fencing and take part, with all equipment being provided.
The club will then open its doors to regular sessions on Wednesday, March 10 between 7pm and 9pm. A10 week beginner's courses will be run with all equipment being provided.
