I FULLY support P C Golders' comments in his letter of February 13 on cruelty to the insect population. Perhaps some people do not appreciate their value.
As a keen gardener, it gives me a great deal of satisfaction to see worms and beetles beavering away on my compost heap to make a rich compost for my plants and to watch the bees and wasps on my tomato plants.
It makes me wonder which of God's creatures contribute the most to the maintenance of this planet of ours?
Certainly not those in 'I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here.'
