YOUTH councillors from across Lancashire will be premiering a project to find the best and worst places for young people to go in the county at a Cinema this Sunday.
Members of the Lancashire Youth Council will be unveiling their epic 'Stuff2Do' project to find out what their peers think of the services available to them at Premier Cinemas in Accrington.
The project is an internet-based survey that allows young people the chance to say exactly what they think of the things available for them to do.
Lancashire County Council's Overview and Scrutiny Committee will be presented with the findings.
County Councillor Wendy Dwyer said: "This is a great opportunity for young people to have a say in the services and facilities provided for them. This is not just about youth clubs and other council services, we want to hear their views on leisure and recreation."
Paul Dwyer, Member of the Lancashire Youth Council for Hyndburn District, said: "Campaigning for good and accessible facilities for young people in Lancashire is a high priority for Lancashire Youth Council." County Councillor Terry Burns, the county council's Champion for Young People, said: "We can't make any promises but the county council can wield quite a bit of influence."
The survey will be online at www.stuff2do.lancashire.gov.uk from March 1. Those who complete the questionnaire between the March 1 and 31 will be entered into a prize draw.
