IT'S more years than I wish to remember since I was approached by women appealing to my charitable nature to buy a sprig of lucky heather.
It happened twice in Bradshawgate on Tuesday, but having a garden full of the stuff, in a variety of colours, I graciously declined.
My grandma always advised me to buy from gypsies, so I'll just have to hope the duo didn't put the fluence on me!
