I AM in total agreement with Mr Charles Warkman and Brian Race (LET, February 6/9) regarding the merger of Ribble Valley with Blackburn.
The thought of this fills us with horror. No-one in Mellor Village seems to have been asked, or has given an opinion on this. It would be interesting to find out who Sir Bill Taylor did ask? I don't think anyone here wants anything to do with Blackburn.
We came to Mellor some years ago being sick with the way Blackburn Council did things. Ribble Valley Council do a good job thank you. We don't want anything from Blackburn.
Please tell us this is someone's idea of a very sick joke.
