TAKING over the hot seat as the boss of Bury Fire Station is Helmshore father-of-two, Peter Brandon.
Assistant Divisional Officer Brandon succeeds ADO John Beryl who retired recently after more than 30 years service.
Mr Brandon will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and staffing at The Rock station. The 46-year-old joined Greater Manchester Fire Service 20 years ago and has served in Salford, Bolton and the training school.
He said: "The Bury station has a great team of highly professional and experienced staff and I look forward to working with them."
