IT WAS back to school for a group of Bury parents.
A group of seven mums joined children at St Paul's Primary School to witness first-hand how their children learn maths.
And as well as the children being rewarded at the end of the six-week course, the parents were also presented with certificates to mark their achievement.
The classes were run by Year Four teacher, Mr Richard Spavin, along with Bury LEA maths consultant Mr Simon Caplan.
Mrs Margaret Caunce, from the Porritt Street school said: "The maths event seemed to go really well. The parents enjoyed the sessions and it gave them a chance to see how their children are now being taught the subject in school."
