YOUNGSTERS from Rosegrove were treated to a day out at Coldwell Activity Centre, on the moors above Nelson, as a reward for their enthusiasm over the last few weeks.
They have been involved in workshops and last week they ventured out into Rosegrove to engage in video work. Later the parents will be shown what their children have done.
The Coldwell trip was organised by the Youth and Community service.
THE elderly residents went on a shopping trip to Bury Market and enjoyed looking round the market and shops - and spending money. For some residents it would not be possible to participate in such activities unless a trip is organised, and so Rosegrove Action Group deserve thanks for their efforts.
A RECENT planning application to build 36 two and three-storey houses on land off Kiddrow Lane has been delayed until issues have been ironed out with the contactors. Some residents have opposed the plans due to road safety and nearby schools.
THE Rosegrove clean-up last Saturday was cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances and will be re-arranged for a future date. Look out for more details in the shop window. Apologies for any inconvenience.
