SEDGLEY Park RUFC player coach Tim Fourie is glad his team is back in action, although he believes a free Saturday last weekend could stand them in good stead.
"It seems to have provided the guys with a chance to re-focus," he said.
"Our injuries seem to have cleared up, except prop Hugh Thomas. He's been recovering from a calf injury but picked up a chest infection, so we'll have to see how he is feeling."
Tomorrow sees the visit of the once mighty Rosslyn Park, who now find themselves second-from-bottom of National Two and staring relegation into National Three South in the face.
"I've been drumming into my guys the fact that they are fighting to stay up, so it's not going to be easy." When the teams met at Priory Lane back in October, Sedgley won 36-25.
Other relevant fixtures see leaders Nottingham at Bracknell, while fourth-placed Doncaster take on fifth-placed Harrogate. Third-placed Nuneaton are away to Rugby tonight.
"Our fate is in our own hands, if things go to plan, great, if they don't there's nothing we could have done about other games anyway," said Fourie.
"You can't afford to speculate on who might beat who, it puts you back into the comfort zone and that's a very dangerous place to be."
