GENEROUS regulars at a Burnley pub last night got together to raise money for the devastated parents of the three Waddington sisters who died after a fire at their Hapton home.
The event at the Coach and Horses, in Church Street, was organised by landlady Carole Armstrong.
Staff, family, friends and regulars rallied to support the bid to help Barry and Jayne Waddington, whose daughters Louise, Hayley and Gemma lost their lives in the fire earlier this month.
Carole, a mother of two and grandmother of four, knows Barry, 40, through his work at Tiger Taxis, which is close to the pub.
She met his daughters last summer when they enjoyed an evening in the pub's beer garden.
She said: "The girls were so bonny.
"I wanted to do something to raise money because I just think what happened is so tragic."
Carole hopes the evening will have raised £1,000.
