A MAN arrested on suspicion of the death of a 15-year-old Radcliffe girl by dangerous driving has been released on police bail.
The girl, who police have now identified as Natalie Danielle Pickwick-Jones, died after she was hit by a car as she crossed Bolton Road, Radcliffe, on Friday night.
The teenager of Olsberg Close was struck by a Toyota MR2 near to the junction of Canuter Street, shortly after 11pm.
She suffered multiple injuries and was taken to Fairfield General Hospital where she later died.
The Toyota was travelling towards Bolton when the accident happened.
The driver was treated for shock.
A 30-year-old man has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Traffic police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them.
They are particularly keen to speak to the driver of a red car that was seen in the area at the time.
