A BLACKBURN disabled children's centre is celebrating a rather late Christmas present - thanks to high spirits from brewery staff.
The Blue Tin Roof Centre, based in Mill Hill, was given £600 by Blackburn brewers Daniel Thwaites.
The money was raised over Christmas when the company turned its visitor centre into a bar for staff.
Lynn Jepson, personnel manager at Thwaites, said: "We are delighted to help this new venture."
Andrea Brighouse, who set up the centre in December with her husband Colin, said: "We are not a charity, but we ploughed everything we have into the project. We rely on support from the community and are delighted to receive this help."
