Queens Park Torpedoes lived up to their name by destroying the opposition to be crowned the kings of five-a-side football.
For the Blackburn side beat Golden Cup 2-0 to win the senior category at the grand final held at Darwen Leisure Centre.
The grand final was the culmination of a series of junior and senior group matches held at venues across the borough.
The well established event, organised by Blackburn with Darwen Council's festival and events team, attracted 101 junior and senior teams.
The slick, quick Torpedoes were in form throughout the tournament -- scoring 13 goals in the group stages -- but scrapped through to the final after beating Blackburn Nation in a penalty shoot-out.
With the scores level at 1-1 after normal time, Torpedoes reached the final after winning 3-1 in the shoot-out.
Torpedoes reached the last four after winning three and drawing one of the Group A matches at Shadsworth Leisure Centre.
They opened up with a 5-1 win against Blackburn Shamrock before being held 1-1 by Hole I'th Wall. But victories against Blackburn United 'B' (3-0) and Micromatic (4-3) booked their place in the last four.
In the junior category, Accoutre and Akzo Nobel dominated the section winning two age groups each.
In fact, the two clubs had teams in all four finals except the under 13s where Akzo 'D' beat Blackburn Shamrock.
Akzo also won the under nines while Accoutre triumphed in the under 15s and under 11s.
In the under nines final, Akzo 'A' beat Accoutre 'B' by a single goal. Akzo reached the final thanks to handsome victories against Akzo 'B' (7-0), Beach (5-1) and Blackburn Shamrock (4-1). They also drew against Accoutre 'A' and Accoutre 'B' who they eventually played in the final.
The under 11s final was an all-Accoutre affair with the 'B' team beating the Whites 4-1.
It was only the second goal Accoutre 'B' conceded in the whole tournaments following victories against Real Beach (1-0), Blackburn Eagles (2-1), Knuzden Juniors 'B' (1-0) and Accoutre 'A' (2-0).
In the under 13s age group, Blackburn Shamrock broke the Akzo/Accoutre stranglehold on finalists but could not lift the silverware.
For Akzo 'D' proved to be too strong with a convincing 3-0 win against Shamrock.
Akzo's 'D' team booked their place in the final thanks to a 2-1 win against Akzo 'A' in the semi final.
In the group stages held at Darwen Leisure Centre, Akzo 'D' won all of their matches with victories against Travel Services (8-0), Accoutre 'B' (2-1), and Bengal Stars (2-0).
In the under 15s age group, Accoutre had to beat three Akzo teams before lifting the trophy.
In the group stages, Accoutre beat Akzo 'C' 2-1 and Queens Park Torpedoes 1-0 to book a semi final place where they ran out 2-0 winners against Akzo 'B'.
Accoutre completed a hat-trick of victories against Akzo with a 4-0 win against the 'A' team in the final.
And the girls event, Darwen Seconds showed there was no room for sentiment as they beat two of their own teams on their march to glory.
For the Seconds beat Darwen Thirds (5-0) and Darwen Firsts (2-0) while a 2-1 win against Penwortham Girls 'A' booked their place in the final.
The Preston side also reached the final with Darwen beating them by the same scoreline as in the group stages.
Trophies were presented by former Blackburn Rovers player, Mark Patterson, and former Bolton Wanderers star, Peter Nicholson.
