BACUP Borough have broken down the barriers of local rivalry by going to the aid of neighbours Nelson.
The Blues were struggling for a goalkeeper after Billy Carrington suffered a fractured nose two weeks ago.
But Bacup boss Brent Peters made his stopper Andrew Quinton available for his Nelson counterpart Mick Molloy to sign.
"I spoke to Brent and he agreed to let us have Andrew in time for the weekend and I'm very grateful for that," Molloy said.
"Andrew hasn't been featuring for Bacup but Billy's about another couple of weeks away from a comeback so we're glad to have him."
Paul Fildes is doubtful for tomorrow's home game against Nelson after picking up a knock in the 3-1 win at Castleton Gabriels last Saturday.
Mick Charlton could feature after missing last week's game with a leg infection while Paul Barrett is also battling to be fit.
Molloy, who has also snapped up Andy Pendlebury from First Division side Trafford, added: "We did well last Saturday, considering the condition of the pitch and the wind.
"But we were disciplined and deserved the points so I'm hoping for more of the same tomorrow."
Molloy is also demanding a vast improvement from his side after the last time they faced tomorrow's opponents Norton.
"We played them at their place about two months ago and it was the worst performance I've seen as Nelson manager.
"The first half was terrible. So I don't want a repeat of that!"
