DETECTIVES trying to identify a murdered woman whose body was found in a Nottingham park are seeking help from East Lancashire.
They believe she was killed elsewhere, possibly another county.
An artist's impression is still being produced, but police have issued a description of her in the hope of a breakthrough.
She was found on March 18 in Newstead Abbey Park, Ravenshead, Nottingham, by a man walking near a lake.
The victim was white, aged 17 to 30, 5ft 2in and weighing seven stone, with brown eyes and light brown hair just over an inch in length.
Both ears were pierced three times in the lower lobe. She was wearing a red, short-sleeved t-shirt, faded blue jeans and blue and white trainers.
The woman had an old injury, a fracture on the left side of the pelvis. Anyone with information should call 01623 483020.
