A VAGRANT who vanished after warning his family he may harm himself has been found safe and well.
Dale French, 35, who is known to sleep on the streets around Accrington Library, the Job Centre and the Black Abbey pub, disappeared at 7am on Friday after posting a note through the door of his brother-in-law's house.
He suffers from Hodgkinson's disease and had recently discharged himself from Queen's Park Hospital, Blackburn.
Police said Dale was taken back to the hospital after arriving at the Maundy Relief Trust in Abbey Street early yesterday afternoon.
