Radcliffe Borough 1 Southport 3: JOHN Foster was sent off as Radcliffe Borough lost 3-1 at home to Southport in the Unibond Premier Division on Saturday.
Foster was dismissed following an off-the-ball clash shortly before half-time.
Borough had been leading at that point, Tony Carroll having converted a 16th minute penalty after Steve Foster had been brought down by goalkeeper Steve Dickinson.
But the Sandgrounders took advantage of their extra man after the break.
Kevin Leadbetter equalised in the 64th minute, before Lee Mulvaney made it 2-1 with a quarter of an hour remaining as Borough appealed in vain for offside.
Southport sealed victory in the final minute when former Macclesfield striker Neil Robinson, who had an early-season loan spell with Leigh RMI, found the net.
