ATHERTON Collieries moved off the bottom of the North West Counties League First Division after a thrilling 4-4 draw with Nantwich Town at Alder House.
Andy Bridge put Colls in front just before half-time, but Nantwich scored two in two minutes early in the second half through Danny Griggs and Melford Knight.
Mark Isherwood made it 2-2, before Knight scored his second to restore Nantwich's lead.
Two Dave Conlon goals in the last six minutes appeared to have given Colls a third straight win -- only for Tim Alexander to equalise in stoppage time.
