EAST Lancashire Hospice is appealing for daredevils to take part in a sponsored parachute jump in aid of the charity.
The Hospice, in Park Lee Road, Blackburn, cares for terminally-ill patients and their families from Blackburn, Darwen, Hyndburn and the Ribble Valley.
There are a number of jumps available including a tandem free fall skydive from 10,000 foot alongside an instructor and a £3,000 foot solo jump.
All participants have to do is raise a minimum amount of sponsorship, dependant on the type of jump, and the hospice will receive around £140 plus any additional money raised over the minimum.
Other fundraising initiatives such as team building exercises involving white-water rafting are also available.
