LOCAL textile manufacturers and union officials were in uproar after Blackburn festival organisers bought 3,500 Portuguese-made t-shirts to promote the town's biggest event of the year.
They described it as a slap on the face for the East Lancashire industry.
Meanwhile, publicans were put on alert by Blackburn police after crooks targeted cigarettes and booze in a raid at the Feildens Arms, Feniscowles.
