ROSSENDALE Hospice has launched a new campaign to help it raise £400,000 to keep the facility running for the year.
Volunteers at the hospice have been making hand-made yellow ribbons for people to sponsor for any occasion.
The pledges can be purchased for occasions such as the birth of a child, the celebration of an engagement or wedding or in memory of a loved one.
An Easter Celebration was held yesterday when the ribbons were tied to trees in the grounds of the hospice at Cribden House, Rawtenstall.
Ribbons are still on sale for a minimum donation of £5.
Anybody wanting to sponsor a ribbon is asked to contact Sharon Lees, fund-raising manager, on 01706 240081.
