PLANS to convert a barn into a house and two holiday homes are set to be recommended for approval by planners at Rossendale Borough Council.
Councillors will consider a report into the application at Peers Clough Farm, Peers Clough Road, Water, at next week's development control committee.
The report takes into consideration a number of planning issues, including neighbours concerns and increased traffic issues.
It states: "The barn is currently being used by the applicants in conjunction with the keeping of horses.
"The conversion of the building would require the necessity for the erection of a building for the use of stables.
"While there would inevitably be an increase of vehicles it would be unreasonable to condition the holiday accommodation for non-car users.
"Rossendale council's highways department have raised no objection to the proposal as it is not considered it would have an adverse impact on highway safety or residential amenity."
