A VITAL facility for rural areas is appealing for more volunteers.
Bowland First Responders are among one of many groups nationwide who are first at the scene of an accident or incident, providing emergency care before the arrival of the emergency services.
As part of the Bowland First Responders' membership drive, two introductory training sessions in basic life support have been arranged.
On Tuesday, April 13, there will be a session at the Hark to Bounty, Slaidburn, at 7pm and there will be a session at Bolton-by-Bowland Village Hall on Saturday, April 17, at 2pm.
Three more sessions are being organised to follow the introductory course. For more information contact Audrey Spencer on 01200 448304.
