BRENT Peters has vowed to do his bit to help Clitheroe's title bid by fielding his strongest side tonight.
The Bacup boss was considering rotating his squad and resting some key players after the rigours of a successful two-legged North West Counties Challenge Trophy semi-final.
But he has vowed to put out a full-strength side when they entertain Woodley Sports tonight in an effort to stall their opponents' own title challenge.
"We'll do our best to do Clitheroe a favour," Peters said.
"We've got Woodley tonight, Skelmersdale on Saturday and Ramsbottom on Monday so I was in a good position, to a point, to rotate my squad and keep everyone fresh.
"But I've decided against that because I've got to show some respect to Clitheroe and, with that in mind, I'm going to play my strongest available team. Especially as we want to win our three Easter games and get to 60 points for the season.
"If we can do that, and have our cup final as well, then that's been a tremendous season for us."
Scott Gilchrist is ruled out with an ankle problem - an injury which has infuriated Peters as he sustained it while playing in a Sunday League cup final.
Peters added: "There's not a lot I can do about it because he's not on a contract but I've made my feelings known."
However, striker Brian Welch returns to the squad after being cup-tied.
