MORE than 60 residents from the Brookhouse and Bastwell community enjoyed an Easter break walk around Pendle.
The Walking Group, which aims to increase physical activity to improve health, has been running for over a year and leaves Bangor Street Community Centre on Tuesday mornings.
It is run in partnership with the Blackburn North Healthy Living Centre, Age Concern and Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council's Health Walk initiative. It began as a group catering for older men but has now been opened up to women because of its popularity.
The Pendle walk was also open to walkers' families and friends to benefit children during the holiday.
