I READ about the£103million being spent in Blackburn, but would like to know when the council/Twin Valley remodel, demolish and renovate homes in the Ashworth Street estate.
Where the people moved out of the homes going to move to?
Last year I got to see the plans for the area and while people were saying how nice it's going to look, nobody would or could answer that one simple question.
They plan to knock homes down and convert homes by converting all the maisonettes how they want to.
They are going to make over 40 householders move out, those in ground floor flats will not be returning, those in maisonettes may not return either, so can anybody at Twin Valley tell me where we move to?
STUART SLEIGH, Barley Close, Blackburn.
Footnote: Phil Richards, Chief Executive, Twin Valley Homes said: "We have a statutory obligation to look at re-housing people if they are moved as a result of regeneration work. People would be given the option to stay where they'd moved to or move back to their former area once work has been completed."
