BLACKPOOL - CELEBRATE this Easter weekend with the RSPCA Blackpool and North Lancs Branch at Churchill's, Topping Street.

A fun-packed programme of entertainment starts with a singalong with Frankie and Brendan at 8pm tomorrow (Friday) followed at 10.15pm by Mister Ruby, comedy drag artist. Frankie and Brendan are back on Saturday, 2pm-6pm, with the City Gents at 9.45pm and Sunday Frankie and Brendan entertain 5pm-8pm, and Miss Jan Brett (female vocalist, Stars In Your Eyes) sings from 9.45pm. There will also be a raffle. Everyone welcome!

THE University of the Third Age (U3A) AGM and social meeting is on Wednesday, April 14 at CVS buildings, Abingdon Street, at 1.30pm. New members welcome.

AN EASTER Fair takes place at the Community Centre, Molyneux Drive on Friday, April 16 at 2pm. There will be stalls, tea/coffee and biscuits and a raffle. Admission 50p. Organised by Molyneux Social Club.

'APPEALING for Justice' is the subject of a talk by Father Geoff Bottoms of St Monica's RC Church, Blackpool at the next meeting of Blackpool and Fylde Spanish and Latin American Circle on Friday, April 16 at the Wings Club (RAFA), Victoria Road West, at 8pm. BEST management of coastal areas will be the subject of a talk by expert Dave McAleavy at the next meeting of Defend the Dunes at the Chadwick Hotel, South Promenade on April 22. The group's annual general meeting follows the talk. Admission is free and open to all.
