IT is interesting to note folk griping about the council not taking rubbish bags put out at the side of the bins.
I remember when the wheelie bins were introduced and we were told that we could fit all our rubbish into the bin, which we all did.
Since then, some people have abused that idea.
I can fit five or six bin bags in my wheelie bin, and I have a large family.
I also use the recycling service offered.
Yes, the council has since introduced recycling for paper and what they term as dry-recyclables, a marvellous idea.
I applaud the council in trying to clean up the borough by stopping people putting out bags of rubbish at the side of the bins. Those putting out the bags are causing a great deal of mess and must have little consideration for their neighbours.
It isn't the council that drops the litter or dumps waste, it's a mindless minority.
