CHART-TOPPERS Girls Aloud have confirmed they will support Blue in next month's concert at Ewood Park, Blackburn.
The event, on Sunday, May 23, will be the largest event of its kind ever staged at the Premiership ground with 25,000 fans expected to make it a complete sell-out.
Girls Aloud, who came to fame after winning the reality TV show Pop Stars: The Rivals will be performing all their hits, including Jump, No
Good Advice, Life Got Cold and Sound of the Underground.
Brit Award winners Blue will headline the concert and several other major acts are set to be announced .
A spokesman for Blackburn Rovers which is promoting the event said that there had been a huge amount of interest in the concert since tickets went on sale a fortnight ago.
Ewood Park is no stranger to major pop events having staged two successful Feel The Noise concerts, which included top acts Will Young, Atomic Kitten, S Club 7 and Mis-Teeq.
