COUNCILLOR Joan Grimshaw recently posed three questions on the Letters page:
Do we all agree on the need to curtain landfill waste?
Should we not recycle as much as possible?
If we all agree, then do we need a weekly grey bin collection, as much more waste will be recycled?
She wants us to believe that a fortnightly bin collection will result in more waste being collected, but this is not so!
All my fellow Conservative colleagues in the coming local government elections say yes to more waste being collected and recycled. So, we will restore the weekly grey bin collection.
