Halifax 2 Leigh RMI 1by Martyn Hindley: LEIGH RMI have been relegated from the Conference for the first time in their short history after defeat at Halifax.
But manager Phil Starbuck is telling his players to keep fighting -- hoping that confusion over the restructuring of the non-league scene will see the club reinstated in the summer.
"It's important that we finish above Northwich." said Starbuck. "If we finish second or third bottom then we could squeeze in at the back door, but at the moment, the players are distraught", he added.
The Railwaymen struggled to make chances throughout and their only copnsolation was a late Mario Daniel goal.
