FOUR people were taken to hospital following a two-car smash in Whitefield.
Two sisters aged 20 and 23 had to be cut free from the wreckage of their Fiat Punto after it collided with a Peugeot 306 in Stanley Road, near to the junction with Manchester Road, on Saturday night.
Two other people were taken to North Manchester General Hospital with minor cuts and bruises. The sisters' injuries are not life-threatening.
