A HOTEL and restaurant costing £3 million, which has created 65 new jobs is now open to the public.
The Brewsters and Travel Inn complex in Riversway Drive, off Eccleshill Road, Lower Darwen includes a restaurant, a children's play area and a 43 bedroom Travel Inn. All rooms in the hotel have en suite shower and bath, with tea and coffee-making facilities and a colour TV.
In the restaurant, there is a toddler play area and fun factory for children up to the ages of 14 years. There is a safety scheme to monitor the movements of children who are tagged so parents know where they are. There is also an ice cream factory where children can create their own desserts.
Judith Ainsworth, manager, said: "Brewsters is an attraction that will appeal to local residents, families and visitors to the area, indeed anyone looking to enjoy a drink or a meal in relaxed surroundings."
