RESIDENTS in a deprived area of Colne could be given cameras to show how they view their surroundings as part of a regeneration project.
Waterside residents could be asked to take photographs of their communities as part of a project run by environmental group Groundworks.
The plans follow a similar exhibition run on the North Valley estate last year, which attracted hundreds of photographs of families, gardens, grot spots and landmarks.
Pictures from that project have been displayed at the Mid-Pennine Art Gallery in Burnley and are currently on show in the glass exhibition area at the front of Colne Market hall.
Anyone interested in taking part in a photography project in the Waterside area should ring Ruth Mackie on 01282 430433 or Lucy Bergman on 01282 421986.
