Accrington Stanley fans jogged up and down their ground's terraces 603 times -- the equivalent of reaching the summit of 4,500ft Ben Nevis -- and raised money for a new toilet block.
The eight fit football fans from the Accrington Stanley Supporters' Club may have looked 'flushed' at the end of it but they all managed the 9,648 steps.
The idea was thought up by members of the supporters' club to provide a new twist to their annual Easter sponsored walk.
The runners raised more than £500 and together with other fundraising events the supporters' club hope to raise £1,500 to donate to Stanley for the toilet block at the Clayton End.
Vic Allonby, treasurer of the supporters' club, said: "We are a bit limited for toilets at the ground at the moment.
"We have toilets at one end of the ground and in the Sports Bar, but when we have a match where we are segregated, the away supporters have the toilet block and everyone else has to queue at the bar. It gets very crowded at half-time."
One of the members of the supporters' club used laser equipment to measure the height of the terrace and work out what was needed to climb the equal of the Scottish mountain, Britain's highest.
Vic added: "They were all pretty tired by the end of it but they managed to stagger into the bar for a drink afterwards!"
Malcolm Isherwood, chairman of the supporters' club, who cheered on the participants, said: "It was a great effort by all the lads who turned up."
The Clayton End is due to get a roof during the summer and it is hoped the new toilet block will be built then. It is planned that it will have a plaque to say it was built with the help of the supporter's club.
The next fundraising event for the toilet block is a karaoke night at the club's bar on Saturday.
