EDUCATION bosses are preparing to reveal their strategy on tackling schools which fail to meet the grade.
Director of education at Blackburn with Darwen Council, Peter Morgan, will expose to the council's overview and scrutiny committee exactly where the responsibility lies for schools dubbed as failing by education watchdog inspectors. And he will also set out how the Ofsted framework has changed.
The move comes after Darwen Moorland and Queens Park High in Shadsworth, were dubbed unsatisfactory in February.
At the overview and scrutiny committee on April 19, Mr Morgan will face questions from teachers, governors and education representatives on the effectiveness of the system.
