FURIOUS Accrington Stanley manager John Coleman has threatened a summer clear-out after yesterday's disappointing defeat at Scarborough.
The Reds chief has vowed to ring the changes after seeing his side squander a host of chances then crash to a late Seadogs winner.
And he has put 'winners' at the top of his wish list after Stanley failed to make the most of their pressure once Andy Gouck had headed them into a first-half lead.
"It's the same old story and I'm fed up to the back teeth with it," Coleman fumed.
"I should be used to it by now but I'm not. It knocks me sick to my stomach. I really am fed up.
"At this moment in time we just don't know how to win, certainly not away from home, and it's not good enough.
"It's not good enough for the fans who travel, it's not good enough for the club and it's not good enough for me.
"At the end of the day we're a miles better side than Scarborough. I pull no punches in that and anyone who watched the game will know that.
"But you cannot keep squandering chances and you can't keep giving goals away.
"Unfortunately we're doing both and it's a recipe for disaster."
He added: "We haven't got enough winners in the team - people with a winning mentality.
"The game should have been wrapped up after an hour. But we squandered chances like they're going out of fashion and we're not tight enough at the back. We've never been tight enough at the back to be fair this season, and we've been punished for it.
"You can say it's tiredness but we were lazy late on. We did silly things and sloppy things, and we got punished for it.
"They (Scarborough) shouldn't have been in the game and they know that, they know they stole the game.
"But by the same token, if you don't dismiss teams like that as soon as you can you lose games. It happened yesterday, not for the first time, and I think with this personnel it wouldn't be the last, so things will have to change."
