FUNDRAISER Kath Jackson has had to save her Easter eggs for another week, as her marathon training does not permit them.
Kath, is one of 40 40-year-olds taking part in the London Marathon on Sunday with TV presenter Lorraine Kelly.
She will travel to London on Friday for the 26-mile run in aid of the British Heart Foundation.
The part owner of Mellor Post Office and village store said: "I have got a lot of sponsorship since it has been in the Lancashire Evening Telegraph. It's been a bit overwhelming really but I'm really looking forward to it now. Easter was a bit difficult though as I'm a real chocoholic.
"I'll probably eat about four eggs on the journey home afterwards."
Anyone wishing to sponsor Kath, of Church Lane, Mellor, should call 01254 812321.
