CAN we who don't smoke have a night out please? I think smokers have had it their way long enough.
I have not had a night out for years due to suffering from asthma and not being able to go in a smoky atmosphere (so I suspect have many others).
I don't think its fair that for years I have had to stay at home. I would love a night out but people who smoke stop me. How would the smokers feel if they were stopped from going out? Us non-smokers could enjoy ourselves as well as the smokers if it was banned in public places.
Give us a turn to enjoy ourselves in pubs, clubs, restaurants and cafes. They won't be stopped from going in these places as we have been, just asked to smoke elsewhere, which still gives them the freedom to smoke if they choose to.
By the way non-smoking areas in public places don't work as the smoke still wafts over so please give us the freedom to enjoy ourselves as well.
