A JUMBLE sale is being held to raise cash to buy equipment for the stroke unit at the Royal Bolton Hospital.
The Friends of Bolton Stroke Unit need £3,500 to buy a hoist, which is used to lift patients who have suffered a stroke, into bed.
The jumble sale takes place on Friday at Howe Bridge Scouts and Guides Centre, Leigh Road, Atherton at 6pm.
Admission is 20p and all proceeds go towards buying the hoist for the stroke unit.
