The world famous Funjabis are to appear at a charity event in Blackburn.
The only live Asian comedy group in the UK, their "fun-nomenal" success has propelled them across the country with sketches and visual gags.
Since the launch of their live shows in November 1997, Funjabi performances have included theatre, TV, radio and festivals such as the Leicester Comedy Festival, The BBC Mega Mela and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
They last appeared in the North West twelve months ago in one-off show at the Oldham Coliseum Theatre.
This time the Lancashire Black Police Association (LBPA) Dinner will host the group in an event which aims to raise money for the victims of the Iran Earthquake.
The evening will include a three-course meal with halal and vegetarian options and a charity raffle.
LBPA Charity Event - 23 April 2004 at Ewood Park (The home of Blackburn Rovers Football Club), Blackburn. Event Begins at 7.30pm and tickets are priced at £25 + VAT. For further information call 01254 353 638.
