EX-PRO Ian Seddon recalled tales of his sporting life to members of Tyldesley Probus Club.
After showing exceptional ability at both football and cricket in his schooldays Ian signed professional forms for Bolton in 1967 and made numerous first team appearances.
In the 70s he transferred to Chester then Cambridge before playing for teams in Australia, Hong Kong and Cork.
During the summer he played cricket for Walkden and Astley Bridge.
