JODIE Lee Mulcrow will become the third generation of her family too be crowned Golborne May Queen next month.
Ten years old Jodie Lee, a pupil of Nicole Mere School in Ashton, will follow in the footsteps of her auntie Joanne, who was May Queen in 1993, and her nan, Margaret Cross, who was May Queen in 1956.
Accompanying Jodie on her big day as part of her retinue will be her younger brother Saul, who is carrying on another tradition that was set by their dad, John, who was a sword bearer in the carnival in the 1970s.
