FOUR pupils from Golborne High will represent Wigan schools in next month's regional finals for the 'Young Consumer of the Year' award.
Jenny Moore, Ruth Harrop, Andrea Widdows and Lianne Abrahams won the knock-out style quiz at Trafford Centre's prestigious Orient restaurant.
The quiz involves educating young people about consumer rights and trading standards. The national final will be held at Manchester's International Conference Centre in June with a top prize of £1000 and a trophy to the winning school.
In another competition, hosted by Wigan Council Trading Standards, children from St Thomas' CE Primary School in Leigh won £100 in vouchers for an eye-catching Easter egg display.
