Shahid Malik, 31 set up his Fashion boutique after being inspired by the colours and cultures of India.
His boutique Red Hot Fashions opened on Whalley Range in Blackburn last year and features the latest fashions from Mumbai and Kashmir.
He told us, "I was inspired on a trip to India by all the colours and cultures in the country and wanted to bring some of those experiences back to my home town."
His boutique joins others on Whalley Range making the area a hot pot of fashion culture and shopping.
"A new business is good for an already thriving shopping area. I think it breeds confidence and brings in visiters from other towns and cities."
Shahid has been assisted in his new business venture by The Asian Business Federation, "The ABF helped me get a bank account, a card processing terminal and their general all round advice has been good."
