It was a near flawless performance by myself and the team , when we beat Mill Hill FC (undefeated all season) 2-1.

The fact that we have tried to achieve this task for 5 years....and under our new manager we have managed to do it in half a season is something for the readers to be aware of. Read into as you will!

Blackburn United FC are going all the way next season, watch this space. Also, I would strongly advise advise punters not to bet against us in the 11 a-side combination tournament at the close of the season.

We don't need your money Mr Mulla, because we got passion that no money can buy! (and we got Hanky, who nobody would buy)

Common sense

Regarding comments concerning referees in the February isue of Asian Image. I agree that sometimes organiers do get it wrong. If there is a difficult game or one which has some history to it, why don't organisers make sure there is a referee who can handle the situation and is respected by both sides.

When something does happen in these games then it is never the fact that you had an inexperienced referee in charge of the game but the view that players were to blame. I know it is difficult organising leagues but all players want is some common sense from organisers and referees.

Support

In the March issue of Asian Image there were two articles that caught my eye. The first about Kamran Ashraf the young snooker player and the other about Amir Khan the boxer.

Both these youngsters require all our support and I would like to read about how they get on in the future. I also want to say I attend football matches at Ewood Park and would love to see more and more of our community supporting their local club. I feel we are missing out so much.
